This notice explains how ENVIRO MUNDO LTD ("we", "us") — trading as EM Remedial Solutions — collects and uses your personal information when you book a fire door inspection or other appointment through this page. We are the "data controller" for this information under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

When you make a booking we collect the details you enter: your name, flat or unit number, and your phone number and/or email address, along with any notes you choose to add and the date you request. We also record the date and time your booking was submitted.
We use your information solely to arrange, confirm and carry out your inspection or appointment, to contact you about it, and to keep the records we are required to keep about fire safety work. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it.
Our lawful bases for this are our legitimate interests in scheduling and delivering the work safely and efficiently, taking steps to provide a service you have requested, and, where relevant, complying with our legal obligations relating to fire safety.
Your booking is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored in a secure spreadsheet provided by Google, which acts as our data processor. This website is hosted by Netlify, which serves the page but does not receive your booking details. Access is limited to our staff who need it to arrange your work. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate legal safeguards.
We keep your booking information only for as long as we need it to carry out and record your inspection, and then in line with our record-keeping obligations, for up to 6 years after the work, after which it is deleted.
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to restrict or object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@em-rs.co.uk.
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

These terms apply when you book an inspection or appointment through this page with ENVIRO MUNDO LTD, trading as EM Remedial Solutions ("we", "us"). By ticking the box and submitting a booking, you confirm you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't submit a booking.
Submitting the form is a request for an appointment on your chosen date. Your slot is not guaranteed until we confirm it with you using the contact details you provide. Dates shown as available may change, and we may need to offer you an alternative.
If we attend and are unable to gain access at the agreed time, we may need to rearrange the appointment. We'll work with you to find another suitable time.
The appointment is to inspect, and where agreed carry out remedial work to, fire doors and associated components. Any further remedial works, costs or timescales we identify will be discussed and agreed separately with the relevant responsible person before we carry them out.
We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable or that are not a direct result of our work. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown here applies to your booking. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
